school group tuition

Young gardeners at Moorlands Infants School.
I have many year's experience of providing school group tuition at schools and at various field sites. I have also written several education resource packs, all in line with the National Curiculum of course.
I have set up and run schools programs in several locations and worked with many local schools groups to help them learn about the environment and heritage of their local area.
I've now moved to Saltburn where I am once again freelance. Please contact me for more details of how I can help your school.
Sessions for schools can be curriculum based (science, geography or whatever else you want I can work with) or Forest School style. Forest School is an inspirational way to work all ages that offers ALL particiapnts opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through regulaer hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. (Easy to justify under the early years curriculum for physical and social development and at KS1-4 you can link to citizenship or PHSE) I am a member of the Forest School Association who have lots more information about forest school here.

Some of the resource packs I have written. The 'Introduction to woodland' pack was instrumental in the organisation I wrote it for winning a David Belamy Conservation Gold Award.
